Musk claimed in an interview that his "son" was "killed by the woke mind virus." His daughter, Vivian, is actually quite alive - and extremely funny.

In a recent interview with Jordan Peterson, Elon Musk claimed he was tricked into approving gender-affirming care for his trans daughter Vivian because he was told she was at risk for suicide. While deadnaming and misgendering Vivian—who’s now 20 years old, has legally dropped his last name, and wants absolutely nothing to do with him—Musk lamented the fact that his “son” is now “dead - killed by the woke mind virus.”

In a follow-up post on X, which I won’t link to because it deadnames her again, he added that she’s was “born gay and slightly autistic, two attributes that contribute to gender dysphoria.”

“I knew that from when he was about 4 years old and he would pick out clothes for me to wear like a jacket and tell me it was ‘fabulous!’, as well as his love of musicals & theatre,” Musk wrote. “But he was not a girl.”

Vivian initially fired back in a video, a series of posts on Threads (obviously a competitor to her dad’s platform), and an interview with NBC that Musk “doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn’t there.” She said her estranged father, whom she calls “Elon,” is essentially making up all those details about her because he’s “in a ketamine-fueled haze” and “desperate for attention.”
